Graveside flower delivery on the Grave Care Network
Many of people do not require the services of a Porfessional Monumental Mason and use of harsh cleaning materials on a headstone. A wipedown with a cloth and some new flowers is mostly all that is required if looked after properly.
Here is some research that will give some ideas on the meaning behind the flowers used
Choosing flowers for a grave
The choice of flowers to place on a gravestone can depend on personal preference, cultural traditions, and the meaning associated with different types of flowers. As a volunteer Grave Carer I personally find that there are a good selection of in season flowers to be had at most supermarkets. If they look nice and pretty and the person you are helping likes them it is all good!
Having said that here is the information I have gathered some information on the specific meaning of the following flowers:
Flowers to Consider

Roses
Roses are a very popular flower choice for gravestones. Red roses are often associated with love and respect, while white roses symbolize purity, innocence, and spirituality. Yellow roses represent friendship and loyalty, making them a good choice for remembering a close friend or family member.

Lilies
Lilies are also commonly used for grave decorations, as they symbolize the restoration of the soul of the deceased to a peaceful state. White lilies are particularly popular, as they represent purity and the restored innocence of the soul. In some cultures, lilies are also seen as a symbol of rebirth and resurrection.

Carnations
Carnations are a popular choice for funeral arrangements, and they are often used to symbolize love, admiration, and remembrance. Red carnations represent deep love and affection, while pink carnations signify remembrance and gratitude. White carnations can symbolize pure love and innocence.

Daisies
Daisies are often associated with innocence, purity, and youthfulness. They can be a good choice for a child’s grave or for someone who had a youthful spirit. They also represent true love and loyalty.

Chrysanthemums
In some cultures, chrysanthemums are a common flower to place on graves. In Japan, for example, they are associated with death and are used almost exclusively for funeral arrangements. In other cultures, however, they may represent friendship or devotion.

Forget-me-nots
As the name suggests, forget-me-nots symbolize remembrance and are often used in funeral arrangements. They can also represent true love and loyalty.
